FUNAKOSHI CUP APPROVED FOR YEAR OF EXCHANGE
AUSTRALIA-JAPAN YOE 2006 APPROVAL
The 2006 Australia-Japan Year of Exchange will take place both in Australia and Japan from January to December 2006. The governments of Australia and Japan are planning a number of events including an official opening in February and events commemorating the anniversary of the Basic Treaty of Friendship (signed in Tokyo on June, 1976) in June.
JKA Australia is most excited and honoured to have the Funakoshi Gichin Cup 10th World Karate-do Championships 2006 selected for endorsement as an Official Event on for the 2006 Australia-Japan Year of Exchange, and in return are eligible to use the YOE Logo and be included in the official calendar for the 2006 Australia Japan Year of Exchange.
